Many clients will use the services of an architect to design their homes and then employ an interior designer to design the interiors.

In theory this sounds like a good idea, but in reality usually ends up in the home being a mishmash of styles.

The architect is involved from the beginning of the project and has an intimate knowledge and understanding of the clients needs and requirements.

As a result, we have a clear vision of how the client would like the house to look, both outside and inside.

Having the architect design your home and do the interior design ensures that the design of a client’s home flows from the outside through to the inside.

We believe it’s important to integrate the indoor and outdoor spaces of a home to take advantage of our unique Perth climate.

As part of the interior design service we will select all the materials, fixtures, finishes and colours for each of the rooms within a home. They include:

• Designing the internal fitouts for kitchens, ensuites, bathrooms, laundries and other wet areas. This includes material selections for benchtops, splashbacks, cupboard doors etc.
• Designing all the internal fitouts for the built in cabinetwork throughout the home (ie built in robes, walk in robes, linen cupboards, and any other built in furniture).
• Selecting door handles, cabinet handles and tapware.
• Selecting floor finishes.
• Selecting wall colours and wall finishes.
• Electrical design showing power, switching and telephone connections.
• Lighting design showing location of light fittings and light switches.
• Selecting light fittings.
• Assisting with the selection of appliances.

In addition we can also provide additional interior design services which are included in the Deluxe Package such as :

• Curtains and blinds selections.
• Furniture selections.
